Pink Latte

This is a pretty looking latte with great health benefits! 

This Pink Latte has beetroot powder, ginger and cinnamon…delish.


  • 2 Tbs beetroot powder (or you can use 1 cooked beet)
  • 4 cups of coconut milk or any plant based milk of choice (i am trying out the beet latte by Organic Traditions that already has coconut milk powder and ginger)
  • 1 tsp-1 Tbs of grated ginger
  • 1 drop of cinnamon essential oil or 1 tsp of cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp of vanilla powder or 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Blend it all up and enjoy cold or warm 🙂

Benefits of beets:

  • beets can enhance athletic performance by improving oxygen use and time to exhaustion.  To maximize their effects, beets should be consumed 2-3 hours prior to training or competing.
  • they have some anti-inflammatory effects
  • good source of fiber which is beneficial for digestive health
  • Beets have a high water and low calorie content
  • helps to improve blood flow and lower blood pressure
  • good source of folate, manganese, potassium, iron and vitamin C
