Postnatal Fitness Classes

Mama Baby

This class will focus on getting Mom back into shape with the help of her baby. We use your baby as resistance and work hard to get back to your pre-pregnancy state or even stronger.  Classes are given in a small group setting in order to offer a private and personalized training.   Classes are flexible and we make sure mom gets a safe and good workout while baby is happy!

The class will focus on:

  • When to start exercise after delivery?
  • Pelvic floor and Diastasis Recti safe exercises (Jana will verify for a Diastasis Recti)
  • Circuit training using:
    • Baby
    • Free weights
    • Elastics
    • Stability balls
    • Treadmill, spinning bike and stairs
  • Focus of the class: full body strength, core, posture and flexibility
  • Special appearances from specialists to cover different topics related to postnatal issues.

**New: Mama Baby Fit Cardio Class:

This class is the same circuit training format like all the other Mama Baby Fit Classes, except we are bumping up the cardio and keeping Moms heart rate up more! It will run like a regular class designed for moms and babies: personalized, safe and fun!

*This class is designed for Moms who want to take it up a notch, but there are always modifications for all exercises depending on what level each mom is at. If you are just starting off in the Mama Baby Class or new to class, please choose the regular classes or contact me to see if you are ready for this one.
