Smoothie Challenge Week 2

All Day Energy

This smoothie is creamy and smooth and keeps you going all day!



  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder (you can omit this is you cannot have caffeine)
  • 1/4 ripe avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 1 1/2 cups of almond milk (or any type of milk you prefer)
  • 2 tsp maple syrup or 1 date
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

*Option to add pumpkin seed, hemp seed or your favorite protein powder to the smoothie for a post-workout option….Honey goes well with matcha, so you could use honey instead of maple syrup..both are delicious.

*It’s always possible to add some more green to the smoothie by adding in a handful or spinach or kale..

Wash and prep all the ingredients.  Blend until smooth and serve.  These are great as popsicles too!
