Week 3: Matcha Latte

I love my matcha latte’s especially for an afternoon pick-me up! If you haven’t tried one yet, you have to give it a try…it’s great as an iced latte in the summertime.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp of organic matcha powder

  • 1/4 cup of hot water

  • 1/4 cup of oat milk, coconut milk or any plant based milk of choice (if you don’t have a frother, you can use a blender and use 1/2cup-3/4 cup of milk)

  • Honey to taste (I like to add a little honey to my matcha)

How to:

  • Add the matcha to a large mug with the hot water. Use a matcha whisk or a regular whisk to stir it up and get the clumps out

  • Add a little honey (or you can drizzle on top at the end)

  • Froth your milk and then add it to the matcha, mix it up and voila!

**if you don’t have a frother, add all your ingredients to a blender and it does the trick..
