Chocolate Smoothie Bowl

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Thought I would share this super easy chocolate smoothie bowl recipe that you could make for dessert!

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 Tbs of cacao powder (I like to use raw cacao powder)

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup of plant-based milk

  • 1 tsp of maple syrup

  • 1 tsp of ground flax

Toppings:

  • Shredded coconut

  • Strawberries (I used frozen this time)

  • Chocolate chips (dark chocolate)

*If using as a post-workout smoothie or meal, you can bump up the protein by adding a scoop of protein powder!

How to:

  • Put everything in the blender and blend until you have a nice thick smoothie…you can always add in more milk if it’s too thick

  • Pour the smoothie into your smoothie bowl and add your choice of toppings
